How a USB-C Charger Eliminates Nomophobia

Do you know this word? Nomophobia is a term that was coined fairly recently to describe a growing fear in today’s world—the fear of being without a mobile device, or beyond mobile phone contact.

Mobile phones have become a ubiquitous part of our modern life. They not only serve as a way to communicate, but also act as a social network tool, personal organizer, online shopping tool, calendar, alarm clock, and mobile bank.

Nomophobia reflects a growing concern in a world where always being connected seems more important than ever before.

When people's mobile runs out of battery, it can lead to feelings of stress and anxiety—or even fear or panic.

My distressing experience in the morning

More than once, I got up in the morning or I was ready to go out and noticed the battery on my iPhone Xs Max was getting low. That red icon made me feel panicked, annoyed and caused “nomophobia.”

I immediately charged my phone, hoping to recharge it as much as possible during the breakfast time. But always disappointing, the original charger was charging slow, and the battery percentage increased just a little bit. Feel like it will take forever to charge to 100%.

I couldn’t wait for the battery to reach half charge or more, because I would be late for work. So I had to go with my bulky power bank. It’s obviously a burden of commuting. I hate that.

I tried everything, but nothing seems to work well.

In case that happens again, before I go to bed, I leave my phone plugged overnight, so it can get a full charge when I wake up the next day. But sometimes I will forget to do that, and it seems that charging phones overnight is not good for the battery lifespan. So I don't think that's a good idea.

I also prepare a spare charger in my office so that I can charge my phone when back to the office. But the chance is, my phone would be dead on my way to work. That will lead to a disconnection from the digital world. I don’t want to miss out on any messages or calls.

PD revives my phone quickly

I have been struggling to find a way to reduce the time it takes to charge my device. Luckily, I got a SHARGE 65W USB-C 3-Port GaN Tech Wall Charger which solved my problem perfectly.

The SHARGE charger has two 65W USB-C ports. Both ports support Power Delivery protocol, so my iPhone Xs Max can take advantage of it to charge faster than ever before.

Power Delivery or PD is currently the most mainstream fast-charging technology. It can supply higher power to your device via USB-C. So, your dying device can get as much power as possible in a short time.

My iPhone Xs Max can easily draw up to 18W through one of its USB-C ports and hit a 50% charge in 30 minutes.

Now, I no longer worry that I don’t have enough power to move in a hurry.

This is the powerful and mini charger I want

SHARGE 65W USB-C 3-Port GaN Tech Wall Charger’s two USB-C ports can output up to 65W and both support Power Delivery and QC 3.0 / 4.0 protocol. Not only smartphones, but tablets and even laptops can get fast charging from it.

Besides, it comes with a 30W USB-A port that supports multiple fast-charging protocols, such as QC3.0, XIAOMI Charge Turbo, HUAWEI SuperCharge, SCP, and FCP. That means it can fast charge most smartphones on the market.

The best part? SHARGE 65W has employed the latest GaN tech. Gallium Nitride (GaN) offers better power efficiency in a smaller area than traditional silicon parts. GaN chargers are physically smaller as they don’t require as many components as silicon chargers.

So, SHARGE 65W features powerful output while still maintaining a mini size.

We strive to offer fast charging solutions for your devices.

SHARGE creates a myriad of USB-C PD chargers with different specs, powerful output, and multiple ports to cover all your charging needs. We also build the latest GaN chargers that are faster, more efficient, and smaller than ever.

Perfect travel charger

Bought as a travel charger for my MacBook Air and my iPhone, nice not having to carry two chargers. This charger works great! Have had both devices on it and charges my iPhone from about 20% to full in about 45 minutes and the MacBook from about 10% to full in about an hour. Highly recommend!

It is a game changer

I travel for work and used to carry four charging bricks. This has replaced the bricks and has made me lazy about charging my devices. I can charge devices lightning fast, no longer strategically charging my devices all night. If you have multiple devices that need power this is a game changer.
